Hear the Lionesses roar

The Fifa Women's World Cup may have now come to an end with the England team in a hugely respectable second place it's safe to say this firmly cements the team in Women's sporting history. 

Following on from the team's amazing performance last summer with their win at the Euros and lifting the trophy a whole new legion of fans joined in supporting this team. 

It's been a long time coming for women's football and showing young girls especially that Football is something they can be involved with and learn to play. 

All of the games with the England team in the World Cup were brilliant to watch and they show every time their talent and energy. It may not have been the result that we all wanted but it shows that getting to the final can be done and that hard work well and truly pays off. 

This team of incredible women are a force to be reckoned with and will continue to shine for a long time to come.
