You Tube Vlogs

Hey Guys,

So I've got some exciting news
I've started Vlogging, this is a big step for me confidence wise but I've found an app called Pocket Video which is so easy to use and as I don't have a Go Pro yet its a great one for putting Vlogs together on your iPhone when you are out on the go.

I am trying out different ideas for vlogs but have just put my second one online now all about Scrapbooking.

Come check out my new vlog here Scrapbooking Vlog

They will get longer the more I use the app but I hope you enjoy them

A Blog Round Up - All things Lifestyle,Fashion, Beauty and Travel

Hey Everyone,

Hope you are all well and have had a great week.

So todays blog is a bit of a round up of everything I've been up to in the past couple of months.

So the past few months have flown how is it even November next week? I am first to admit I'm not a massive fan of winter. The clocks change this weekend and I am totally not ready for short day light hours. One thing I do love about Autumn is the amazing sunsets in the evenings and walking through leaves.

So what have I been up to Lifestyle wise
Being a big fan of Friends I was very excited to get to go to Friends fest again this year when it arrived in London. Luckily being late September when we went it was a rare bright blue sky and a gourge warm day watching episodes of Friends on the big screen and visiting Monika and Chandlers apartments (feedback had been taken onboard from last year with some great improvements made to the sets)
The Beauty and the beast hunt has continued in Primark, Mrs Potts has now joined the collection ( she even joined me on a trip to the theatre a few weeks ago) it's now all down to a hunt for Cogsworth to join the collection

I may or may not have added to my collection of Converse. I am not a fan of shoe shopping but when you find your size in the sale it was a no brainer not to put them in the basket. They are actually some of the comfiest Converse I own now and look great for Autumn.

I was lucky to be invited to a new product launch for the brand Urban Veda a few weeks ago. The launch was great fun and the products have been great to try out. I totally recommend the brand as one to try out and cant wait to order some more products.

So last weekend I popped up to Liverpool for a few days. Whilst the weather was super windy and well the rain excelled itself joining in I had a great weekend. The Flashdance tour was a great night out. Our adventures on Sunday took us up to Blackpool Zoo which was a lot of fun, even the giraffes got in on the picture taking. Time always go so fast in Liverpool cant wait for my next visit though.
If you get the chance to visit Blackpool Zoo I really recommend it for all ages, theres a lot do for everyone. CarPark space was great even though you do have to pay but if the kids have energy left then there is a great soft play park next door.

Hope you all have a great week

Manners cost nothing

Hey Guys,

I hope everyone has had a great week.

This wasn't a post I hadn't planned on posting but after an incident I witnessed tonight I've had to put pen to paper.

So this evening I was picking up some dinner on my way home when I could hear raised voices getting louder from the self service area of Lidl.
It was loud enough to hush every person in the queues and bring security and other staff members running.
What made my blood boil was listening to the woman who was shouting laying in to the poor member of staff - accusation after accusation continued to fly.
I'm sorry but at what point no matter how angry you are do you have any sort of right to swear, shout and lay on the abuse.

After working in customer service for nearly half my life I've seen a lot and have taken a lot as well. You have to have a thick skin to take it but not let it get to you. I'm not going to lie and say I've walked away from every situation and just moved on, some days I had to walk away and let my anger out or also cry.
Staff no matter where they work are human.... Yes I know situations come up which don't please everyone but on the flip side people forget it's also the way you come at people that also can explain the response. I know some of my responses were sharp at times but I am a firm believer in something I've had drummed into me all my life

" What you give out you get back"

It's simple, Manners really don't cost anything. Even saying to a member of staff How is your day going? can be a simple question but when you've been on your feet all day and dealt with a lot of people it can go a long way.
I honestly don't understand how people can be so rude, no matter where you are staff are doing their job and no body deserves to have to be treated like that.

With Christmas fast approaching think when your out and about from shopping to office parties staff working are there to do their job but to also help you have a good time. If you have reason for complaint don't go in seeing red you will be more likely to get it sorted quicker if you do it constructively. Staff want to help also should be allowed to do their job the best they can to.

Thanks for listening guys
Have a great week
